Focal Point Academy’s Columbia training facility is located at 8890 McGaw Road, Suite 200, Columbia, MD 21045. The building is shared with Loyola University, so if you see signs for that along the way, you’re headed in the right direction.

Focal Point’s Columbia training center is just 30 minutes away from downtown Baltimore, Maryland. Many of our students fly into Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (17 minutes away), but Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport is also less than an hour away.

Onsite Amenities
Focal Point Academy offers a number of convenient amenities to its students at its Columbia training center.
Parking
Focal Point’s Columbia training center has free, onsite parking – no parking passes required. Ride-sharing services like Lyft and Uber are also available in the area.
Food and Drinks
Every morning, our team provides a complimentary breakfast to our students, including coffee, bagels, and more. Throughout the afternoon, a variety of snacks are available, as well as coffee, tea, and soft drinks, to help you power through that 2:00 pm slump. Our hospitality team is also happy to make lunch and dinner recommendations.
Technology
The Focal Point Academy team will set you up with a temporary laptop with all the software and tools you’ll need for your class. Powerstrips are provided in each classroom, and free wifi is available throughout the facility.
Private Spaces
There are a couple conference rooms and breakrooms throughout the facility, which students can use to take private calls or meetings. If you need one of these rooms for an extended period of time, please coordinate with our hospitality team upon your arrival. There is also a mothers’ room available onsite.
