Ebert joins the Focal Point executive team with responsibility for leading and accelerating business lines including the cybersecurity, data privacy, compliance, and internal audit practice areas. He previously served as a Senior Partner at KPMG, where he led National Cybersecurity Services for the Healthcare and Life Sciences vertical.

Michael is a former senior partner in the Philadelphia office of KPMG’s Advisory Services Practice and also served as a leader of its Cyber (Security, Privacy and Continuity) practice focused on Healthcare Life Sciences. Michael was also KPMG’s National Leader for HIPAA Services working with the Office for Civil Rights. He is experienced with various areas of Healthcare Regulatory compliance, Information Management, and Information Security with particular specialization in the fields of risk management and business enablement. He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
