David Martinez is an IT Audit Director in Focal Point’s Risk Consulting practice focused on the oversight and execution of IT, financial, and operational audits. David has worked across various industries, including the media and entertainment, pharmaceutical, biotechnology and specialty chemicals, manufacturing, e-commerce, telecommunications, and insurance. David assists clients with improving their IT risk management program and control environment, as well as with enhancing IT, financial, operational, and internal audit teams. David works with Chief Audit Executives and Directors of IT Audit Programs to better communicate their objectives and IT and financial/operational plans, bringing added value to their functions across the organization. Prior to joining Focal Point, David held a variety of senior-level audit and finance roles, including positions at Time Warner, CenturyLink, Global Crossing, and Ernst and Young. He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
